Both Stevenson and Michalka teased what's to come for the characters. In that episode, Glimmer's mother Angella (Reshma Shetty) sacrificed herself to prevent the portal Catra opened from destroying all of Etheria. Instead of Horde Prime, it appears a major conflict of She-Ra season 4 is between Glimmer and Catra stemming from the events of the season 3 finale. But as the story progresses, it seems like She-Ra will eventually shift her focus to Horde Prime and his galactic forces as the true threat to Etheria. I don’t want to give you much more than that, but he will change everything.Īs for how Horde Prime will affect the characters, Carrero teased the villain is a "common enemy" for Adora and Catra, and his introduction "shifts the perspective a little bit, because now there’s a bigger enemy that they’re both fighting against." Further, Carrero cautioned fans from getting too ahead of themselves, revealing there's "a little sprinkling of stuff this season, but then there may be more to come." Based on Carrero and Stevenson's comments, fans shouldn't expect Horde Prime to fully become the big bad in She-Ra season 4. We know Hordak’s take on it, but I don’t think that any of our characters are quite prepared for exactly what Horde Prime is going to bring to the table. Horde Prime is definitely this looming shadow over this season.
